the opium wars was the first drug war that been held in chinese era.
opium is made of poppy seedpods that been use for centuries.
opium is produce in east indes and shipped to china by the british merchant.
opium is use to make new drugs like heroin,morphine,codein and mescalun.
at one time,opium is use as a medicine to treat diseases.when the chineses introduce
in mixing opium with tabacco,there started smoking it.

in 1838,the chinese goverment started to restrict opium trade with britain.
chinese refuse to let opium in the country,and would not back down against british
who pressued in on to them.this lead to the british attacking china to let in to theire country and lead of starting an opium war in middleeast.the won this opium war and the opposing country felt defeated.the chineses government was force to sign a contract in allowing opium the be traded to them.

opium war was been a historical event that is important that happen during british
era. opium was a great resources before but now,opium is now added in those drugs that can harm and kill people.... :D

film lesson: "mountain of the moon"

the movie mountain of the moon are all about europeans that explore africa to search for the strange source of the nile river.as i watch this film,there are two explorer and researcher who try to look for its source.it was speak and one other guy.(i forgot).hmm..well..ive learn that it wasnt easy exploring africa before,becuase of its settings,people who live there,and some dangerous creature who lives there just like lions and etc.as this two guys made an expidition searching for the source of nile river,they both put there selves in critical conditions and almost died.africans other tribes are rare and dangerous,because they are NOT used to see other raises like whites and brown etc. ive notice that all people lives in africa are skinny.because i think they dont have enough food to make their body healthy.africa in the past few years or decades are too poor to buy stuff for themselves and no government to organized them,so everytime other raises went there,they only ask for money or stuff for them and they'll work.the things that u gave to them are like a paycheck for them. i was amazed by the geographic settings in africa.they have cool mountains and wierd creatures,and unique people lives thier. it was really hard to stay there without experience or tour guide of your own. this movie really teach me a lot and give me spiritual thinkin about who and what really happens in africa during this era.

An archipelago is a group of many islands in a large body of water. An example of an archipelago would be Japan. Japan thought their race was superior to all other races, so they practiced isolationism. Since they practiced isolationism, Japan was not very advanced in technology. They had no contact with the outside world and were not aware of the great technological advances that were occurring all around them because of the industrial revolution. In 1853, the U.S. sent a fleet of ships under the command of Mathew Perry to Japan in order to end the nation’s self-imposed isolation and open it to trade.

The Meji Restoration was the movement that occurred in 1868, when Emperor Mutsushito decided that in order to withstand the imerialistic might of the West, Japan would need to adopt western ways. Mathew Perry "bullied" the Japanese into signing a trade treaty through a display of military might.When Perry dropped an anchor 26 miles off the coast of Tokyo, capital of Japan, the Japanese were amazed by the movement of ships with no sails.Perry intentionally arrived in port with sails down to intimidate the Japanese with their technological progress.The impressive naval force that Perry brought to Japan was obviously superior to any Japanese warships, this left the Japanese with few options other than to sign the trade treaty. On March 31, 1854 a treaty was signed between the United States and Japan that opened two ports to the United States.

During the Meji Era, the Japanese economy changed. The impact of foreign intervention was tremendous and sent the Japanese economy into a downward spiral. Since they were not a part of the industrial revolution, the Japanese economy had established itself on the production of labor intensive goods. By eliminating tariffs on foreign goods, the United States and the European countries were able to import comparable goods, produced on a large scale, and undersell the local Japanese producers. The resulted in all the small producers being undersold at the market, and often forced into bankruptcy. An unfavorable trade balance was established for the Japanese and their economy was in need of help.

After a while Japanese became better with trading because of the United States. They stopped being isolated and traded with other countries all over the world. The way they modernized was by establishing a parliament and made a system of transportation and communication.

Karl Marx, with the help of fellow economists Engel and Hegal, sparked a whole new idea for economics. He was born in Germany and wanted to become educated. Unfortunately, he was kicked out the countries he tried to learn at, including his own, for being a political radical. Ironically, he found freedom to learn and write in the central location of everything he was against, England.

Communism is the idea of everybody being equal. Social classes were now all the same and everybody was paid the same amount of money. The government controlled its people. Even thought Marks ideas were so strong and many people believed and supported it many communist countries didn’t use his ideas. Mark believed that workers would take over landowners and there government. He believed that factory workers could start a revolution and take over the factory owners since they had a higher amount of population.

in the 19th century,both old and young people work in a factory just to earned money to buy food and clothes.children doesnt have enough time to go to school because they work almost everyday. industrial revolution was a period in late 18th and 19th century when major change agriculture,manufactoring,and transportation had a profound effect on the socioeconomic and social economic in britain.

industrial revolution cause many death and sickness to those people in that particular area.
children under age of 18 are used to do work than going to school daily.they work in a dangerous factories that can cause their death.people work in coalmine,sewing and etc. during the industrial revolution,people cant do nothing but to do what their boss say what they need to do..

nowadays ,in this present day,we people are lucky to live at peace and harmony.also,we should be proud of those people live in last centuries because of their thoughness and bravery to make our live in good way. after this revolution,government changes the rules . they said that children under 18 should not working in factories or any dangerous job. day need to go to school daily and sleep properly. during evening,all machine should be turn off and no one should be working on it.all factories should be close. in that moment workers and children feel free and do what they suppose to do.

Nationalism is the pride or beliefs in your own country. People supports their own country to make it better. the term nationalism can refer to an ideology,a sentiment,a form of culture,or a social movement that focuses on the nation.every country has its own independence so it means that every person that lives in that particular places has a nationalism spirits within it. we can show our nationalism by our action,tradition,culture,goverment ect,.Just like here in america,we can see the american flag anywhere,we used U.S dollars,we speak english language,our goverment president is bush,we pay taxes, in august,we watch olympics watching our team plays sports for medals.all this things are being done just to show that we people are proud to be american just like in those other country.

Simon Bolivar and Latin American Revolution

Simon Bolivar,the Liberator,organized and led military forces,never numbering more than then thousand,to free the northern portion of south america from spanish rule in the early ninteenth century.His direct action resulted in independence for columbia,velenzuela,peru,equador and bolivia.

Simon Bolivar was born on july 24,1783,at caracas,velenzuela.he was child when his parents died.He inherited thier family fortune.As he became a man,he went in Europe.
At the age of ninteeen.Bolivar married a woman of spanish nobility shortly before returning home.within a year of the couple's arrived in Velenzuela,Bolivar wife died of yellow fever.

In 1810,Bolivar joined Francisco de Miranda in a revolt against spanish and quickly occupied Caracas.Thru ages, Simon was one of the great leaders who led the spanish american revolution to take his and other countries independence against spanish colony.

As sacrificing its life for glory,Simon Bolivar became a hero and been called the George Washington Of The South America.

The French Revolution was the most recognize revolution that haved been done by some people from france.People in this revolution dont want thier kings policy,so some unrecognized people tries to oppose the idea of monarchy led "the reign of teror."People from france in time doesn't have enough freedom to do what they want for so long period of time.

After 15 months of revolution.The reign of terror was made incited by conflict between rival politics factions,the girondins and the jacobins,and marked by mass execution of "enimies of the revolution." In this reign of terror, guillotine became the symbol for this executions.Guillotine is a machine that people and goverment made to cut people's head using a big blade.Many known people like Antoine lavoisier,Marie-Antionette,and Madame Roland lost thier lives under this horror killing blade.

Maximilien Robespierre,a dictator from france is the one who ruled france during and after revolution.His the one who made the reign of terror.This guy executed many lives and each person that time was scared to be executed by him without farther reasons.He change all government rules and do what he want to do.
After few years,Robespierre were arrested and cut of his head.the terror was ended.

THE French Revolution

The French Revolution(1789-1799) was a period of political and social upheaval in the history of france.During this revolution,FRANCE was considered the most advance country in europe.It was the center of enlightenment and have a great mass of population and a successful trade network.This Revolution brought about a massive shifting of power from a Roman Catholic Church to the state.Under the Acien Regime,the church had been the largest landowner in the country.France before is monarchy type of goverment,it was when king louise 16 hold the throne for france.He was a weak king.As years goes by,people started to heard about those peoplewho believes in enlightenment.they started to believe in thier own beliefs and that time church is gaining power through the help of those people.

John Locke and "The Enlightenment"

John Locke is a protestant that supported people to have a free rights to choose what religion they want to be.He also the one who said that war would not be solve by religion.He conclude that all humans were equal.He wanted people to do there own will.John Locke proposed the 3 most important natural rights which are life,liberty,and property.

John Locke's ideas were influence mostly on Thomas Jefferson when he wrote the U.S Constitution. AS for me,i would totally agree on John Locke's ideas of enlightenment.I think we humans has a right to picks its religion,to pick its own belief,and to have its own freedom to do what it needs.John Locke's ideas were strenghten and been prove that its right.Until know his ideas on believes still excist.

Galileo Galilie was a Tuscan (italian) physicist,mathematician,astronomer,and philosopher who played a major rule in the scientific revolution.His study include improvement of the telescope,consequent astronomical observation,and support copernicanism.He has been called the father of obsevational astronomy,the father of modern physics,the father of science,and the father of modern science.He observed a lot about planets that surrounds the sun.he supported Copernicus ideas and proven that he is right.After the dicoveries of the telescope,Galileo made to set of observation,fist is the phases of the venus and the second is the observation of sunspot.

Evolution VS Creation

EVOLUTION is the changes of each oraganism, species, and its environtment over many generations.
According to darwin's theory of evolution, us humans are related and has descended from our common ancestor, yet until now, its not yet proven.
I used to think like darwin before, until i heard and read about how God created us.

CREATIONISM is the religious belief that human, animals, nature, and all of the things that has exist in this world was originally made by God of each religion, such as Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and more. Christian bible was commonly accepted as a true and a reliable account of our origin. In Islam they believe in Koran as their bible.

I don't know which side is true, because every side has its own strong evidence that we people can't agree in one. Until now, scientist can't approve which side we really belong but as for know, I won't choose with this choices until its really proven to me and i would see within my two eyes the truth about our origin.
